Poe’s Prosery (Take 2)

 Avatar

Here’s a continuation to Poe’s Prosery addressing what happened to the woman in 144 words:

As the wanderer turned to leave, he heard a faint sigh, almost like a whisper in the wind. Curiosity gnawed at him, but fear rooted him to the spot. The ethereal glow around Elara intensified, casting a warm light that seemed to chase away the forest’s shadows. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, revealing a depth of sorrow and wisdom.

Elara’s voice, soft yet commanding, echoed through the clearing. “You have awakened me, and now the balance must be restored.” With those words, the forest seemed to hold its breath. The wanderer, feeling the weight of his actions, knelt and bowed his head.

Elara rose from her tomb, her ethereal beauty untouched by time. She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. “Fear not, for my awakening marks a new beginning.” The villagers would later speak of the night when the Eternal Sleeper awoke, bringing a new era of peace and prosperity to Saphiyaah.
