  1. Wondrous in wisdom and words. Enjoyed the poem as much as the painting, one illuminating the other.

  2. What a lovely flow to your words, Celeste!

  3. And Million Thanks to you Lillian. I am so happy to hear everyone enjoyed. I am thankful for the recognition. 😊

  4. Thank you so much Helen. 😊

  5. Thank you so much. 😊

  6. Really enjoyed hearing Lillian read your poem this afternoon (afternoon for me!) I hadn’t had the chance to read all the linked poems but on reading it, it is even better…

  7. Your poem is gorgeous, Lillian’s ‘read’ was a great treat this morning.

  8. Celeste: everyone loved hearing your poem read aloud. Thank you again!

  9. Celeste, the cadence and the word choices flow so well in your poem. She is a flower among flowers <3

  10. HURRAH! First, congratulations to your son! I’m sure you’ll be very proud to see him graduate. AND, thank you for letting me read your poem! I am definitely going to do that and will, of course, give you credit. Thank you!

  11. Thank you so much Lillian for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed my work. I must admit, I had to do a bit of research before writing. You have my ABSOLUTE permission to read it during OLN LIVE, I would be honored and thank you again. I won’t be able to attend due to my son graduating film school. I really need to write about that…whew. Have a Fantabulous and poetic weekend.
    Sincerely,
    Celeste,

  12. WELL!!! this is so beautiful, I called my husband in so I could read it to him aloud. This is truly an ode to Bazille and his beautiful painting, which I dearly love. If you’re not participating in dVerse LIVE on Saturday, I would love your permission to read this aloud to the group. I would, of course, credit you for the poem. I’m hosting OLN here and our LIVE dVerse session on Saturday. You can simply reply to my comment here or add it to the chat on the dVerse home page that has the Bazille prompt on it. Somehow, either with you reading it, or with your permission, my reading it, I would LOVE to have the group hear it.
