Style: A 19-line poem with two repeating rhymes and refrains, structured as five tercets followed by a quatrain.

Poem:

Do not let darkness take the day,
The light still lingers in the west,
Hold fast to hope and find your way.
Though shadows loom and skies turn gray,
Each trial faced is but a test—
Do not let darkness take the day.
The dawn may seem so far away,
Yet every heartbeat beats its quest—
Hold fast to hope and find your way.
When lost and wandering astray,
Believe your strength shall meet the rest.
Do not let darkness take the day,
Hold fast to hope and find your way.
