“Charlotte’s Redecorating Adventure”
Charlotte had always been a bit of an overachiever in the web-design department. While other spiders went for your classic, boring circular webs, she was all about flair. Why settle for basic when you could add a little personality, right?
“Voila!” she announced to no one in particular, admiring her latest masterpiece. A vibrant web with perfect symmetry, glowing in the morning sun. And in the center? Charlotte herself, rocking her fancy, multicolored exoskeleton like it was the latest fashion trend. “I look fabulous,” she thought, posing dramatically.
“Charlotte, what in the world…?” Gerald, the spider next door, peeked over. His web was simple, functional, and frankly, a little boring. “Is that… glitter on your web?”
Charlotte twitched a leg dismissively. “It’s not glitter, it’s dew. But thanks for noticing, G!”
Gerald blinked. “Aren’t you worried it’ll scare the flies away?”
“Pfft. Flies appreciate art, Gerald. They want to feel something before they get eaten. It’s about the experience.”
As if on cue, a fly zoomed into Charlotte’s web, pausing mid-flight. “Wow,” it buzzed, wings fluttering. “I’ve never seen a web like this. Is it… avant-garde?”
Charlotte smirked. “I like to call it modern.”
The fly nodded appreciatively. “If I’m gonna get caught, this is definitely the way to go.”
And with that, the fly stuck itself onto the web.
Gerald just stared. “I can’t believe that worked.”
Charlotte shrugged. “Told you. Art sells.”
