You’re so predictably unpredictable,
Like a cat that hates water, but lives for a bath,
You’re the plot twist in a movie
I’ve seen a thousand times,
Yet somehow, you always manage to surprise me.
You’re the friend who’s always late,
But somehow, right on time
With the best excuse I’ve ever heard.
You’re the mystery wrapped in a puzzle,
Wearing an “I’m not that complicated” t-shirt.
You’re the one who orders a salad
And then steals everyone’s fries,
The “I’ll just have one bite”
That turns into half my dessert,
But hey, who’s counting?
You’re the person who says,
“I’m totally chill,” while freaking out,
Calm as a cucumber until the Wi-Fi drops,
And suddenly, the apocalypse is near.
You’re the master of contradictions,
A walking irony in sneakers,
Loving surprises but hating change,
Always planning ahead
But never sticking to the plan.
You’re so predictably unpredictable,
I wouldn’t want it any other way,
Because with you, life’s an adventure,
Even if I never know
What kind of crazy twist is coming next.
